All Wisp Grand Prix Red Star Ring Locations in Sonic CrossWorlds

When racing offline in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ Grands Prix, players will notice Red Star Rings that they can pick up. Each track has 5 of these, and while not useful to the outcome of the race, like Gold Rings, it’s fun trying to collect them all, and players will be rewarded with more Donpa Tickets if they do.

While some of these Red Rings are in plain sight and simply require players to take a corner in a specific way, others are hidden and can only be found by taking niche shortcuts. This guide will cover all the Red Star Ring locations for the Wisp Grand Prix in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which includes the following tracks: Metal Harbor, Sand Road, and Colorful Mall.

Red Star Rings cannot be collected on the final race of a Grand Prix, where each lap takes place on a track from one of the previous races.

All Metal Harbor Red Star Ring Locations In Sonic CrossWorlds

The Red Rings for the Metal Harbor race are fairly easy to acquire, although two laps are required due to split paths.

Right Ramp Out Of The First Hairpin

When players come out of the first hairpin corner, they will choose from two ramps. On one lap, go right for this easy Red Ring.

Left Ramp Out Of The First Hairpin

On the 3rd lap or when repeating this race, choose the left ramp after the first hairpin. Players will have to fly through the Red Ring.

Third Hairpin, Take The Top Track

For the third hairpin in the bottom right of the map, players will want to take the top track the first time, where there is a Red Star Ring on the left side.

Third Hairpin, Drop To The Lower Track

On the third lap, instead of sticking to the higher track for the third hairpin in the bottom right, drop to the lower track. As the 180 is completed, players should see the Ring on the edge of a drop.

Go Off A Ramp On The Last Corner

The final Red Star Ring is on the last corner before the long straight. However, it is in mid-air, so players will have to take a ramp at an angle. Make sure you have some speed built up for this jump.

All Sand Road Red Star Ring Locations In Sonic CrossWorlds

Players will want to take two separate routes on their different laps to find all the Red Star Rings in Sand Road. Additionally, one only appears on the 3rd lap.

Red Star Rings cannot be found in Time Trials or online matches, only Grands Prix.

Turn Left & Up After Entering The Temple Near The Start

After the first few corners, players will enter a temple. The first Red Ring of Sand Road is up a ramp on the left.

Continue Normally After Entering The Temple Near The Start

The second time entering the temple at the start, players should continue on the ground floor normally, and as they turn the corner, there’s an easy Red Star on a pink booster.

This one can be gotten on the first lap if players drop down after picking up the first Red Ring.

Middle Of The Race On The Wooden Planks

As players complete the race normally, there is another Red Ring on the straight after a hairpin. At this point, players are racing on wooden planks. The Ring is in front of a pink booster and is hard to miss.

Next To The Dancing Worms Before The Last Corner

Near the end of a lap, after going over some sand dunes, players should see a Red Star next to some dancing worms just before the final corner.

On The 3rd Lap, Become A Boat After Exiting The Temple

This Red Star Ring can only be found on the 3rd lap. After exiting the temple at the start of the race, go straight on into the water instead of turning left. The Ring is just before the water.

Some Red Star Rings are only available on the 3rd lap, as the track changes. The same goes for some that are only found on the 1st lap.

All Colorful Mall Red Star Ring Locations In Sonic CrossWorlds

The Red Rings in Colorful Mall are some of the hardest to find due to the track having lots of levels below and above, with players able to take multiple paths. Two of the Red Ring Stars are only available on the 3rd lap.

At The Start, Stick To The Ground Floor

After the opening corner and reaching a large circular space, players should stay on the ground floor rather than going up the central ramp. This lower path will lead to a Red Star around the corner at the top of a ramp.

Middle Of The Race, Ring To The Left Of A Ramp

Heading left across the map in the middle of the race, players will make a big jump. Upon landing, head left for a Red Ring rather than taking the central ramp.

On The 3rd Lap, Reach A Secret Top Track

This Red Ring is only available on the 3rd lap. After the first corner, take the ramp up. By following this path, players will see that a smaller ramp has appeared, which wasn’t there in the first lap. Use this to go up to the secret top level with a dark floor, surrounded by red ribbons. This will lead players to the Ring.

3rd Lap Take A Weird Shortcut Near The End

On the 3rd lap only, after making the big jump in the middle race, head up the ramp to stay on the upper floors. Then, look at the left of the map for a bit of track that sticks out. This will be on the right at you’re driving. Take this weird angle and the Red Ring Star and continue on to go through some kind of portal and receive a top-tier item to help you finish strong.

Last Corner Among The Tables & Chairs

As players come around the last bend, there is a seating section with a dark wood floor on the left. Head through here for a Red Star Ring.

Players can acquire these Red Rings on any difficulty, which is the same for unlocking all Grands Prix in Sonic CrossWorlds. Although to unlock those, players need to win.
